March 2020
The big news for the beginning of March is the launch of my new Glass Candlestick Collection!
The collection comprises of five unique pieces that have each been blown and painted by hand by Egyptian artisans in Cairo.
Egypt has a fantastically rich history of glasswork spanning well over 3000 years. The skill of delicate glassblowing has been passed down generation after generation and I am delighted to showcase their talent through my glass candlestick designs.
To compliment our Kilim Cushions I have launched a two-piece collection of square Linen Cushions that feature beautiful contrast piping. The cushions are named Larne and Deerfin in celebration of the Northern Irish linen heritage.
Over the past month I have been busy designing new pieces to add to the collections and I cannot wait to share them very soon!
The poem that I have chosen this month is a traditional poem from Northumberland and celebrates the much welcomed beginning of spring.
Love, Issy x
And buds the thorn,
And blows through the flint
Of an ox’s horn
