Handblown from borosilicate glass and finished with our signature hand-applied blue dots, or as we like to call them, our 'Poms', they're made for everything from classic cocktails to celebratory evenings.
Classic Dry Martini Recipe
Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 100ml London Dry Gin
- 15ml Dry Vermouth
- Ice
- 2 twists of lemon peel
Before You Begin
Fill your Issy Granger Martini Glasses with ice while you prepare your cocktail. Chilling the glasses beforehand helps keep your martini perfectly cold for longer and gives you that crisp first sip.
Method
- Fill a cocktail mixing glass or cocktail shaker with plenty of ice.
- Pour in the gin and dry vermouth.
- Stir gently for around 30 seconds until the cocktail is thoroughly chilled.
- Empty the ice from your chilled Martini Glasses.
- Strain the martini evenly between the two glasses.
- Twist a strip of lemon peel over each glass to release the citrus oils, then drop it in as a garnish.
Tips for the Perfect Dry Martini
- Always chill your Martini Glasses before serving.
- Use plenty of fresh ice to properly chill the cocktail without over-diluting it.
- Stirring creates a beautifully smooth, crystal-clear martini, while shaking gives a colder, slightly lighter finish.
- Twist the lemon peel over the drink before garnishing to release its fragrant oils and add a bright citrus aroma.
